This is why we specialize in taking the time necessary to understand each patient’s individual concerns and ensure your care plan reflects your unique needs. A yearly examination will include but is not limited to a breast exam, pap smear, and possible bloodwork. If you have Medicare, check with them regarding how often they will cover a pap smear, usually every 24 months, although your doctor may still want to see you yearly for a breast and pelvic exam.
